GORE TENARA sewing thread from W. L. Gore & Associates is an industrial-grade ePTFE (expanded polytetrafluoroethylene) thread engineered for high-speed sewing and long-lasting seams. Known for its exceptional durability, it is designed to outlast the fabric it is sewn into, and its ePTFE construction is impervious to UV radiation—meaning it resists fading, resists bleeding into fabric, and maintains its strength and color indefinitely even under severe weather and abrasion. The thread stays flexible across a wide range of temperatures and is unaffected by canvas cleaning solutions, making it a reliable choice for marine, awning, and general outdoor textile applications.

Available across the HTR, TR, and 1850-denier styles in a range of sizes (69, 92, and 138) and colors—including clear, white, black, grey, forest green, Chesapeake Bay blue, red, navy, yellow, sandstone, and natural white—each 1/2 lb. spool is lubricated for smooth high-speed sewing and backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
